Vegas Golden Knights

Some trips open doors you didn’t even know were there.
While I was in Las Vegas for the Mint 400, right in the middle of all that desert chaos… things took a different turn. From dust and engines to ice and stadium lights… and somehow, it all connected.
The collaboration with the Vegas Golden Knights wasn’t something I took lightly.
Before the game even began, we were taken behind the scenes… walking through the stadium while it was still quiet, before the energy built, before the crowd filled the space. There’s something about seeing a place like that before it comes to life… you notice things differently.
Then I found my spot in the grandstands.
Sketchbook out, just sitting there, taking it all in.
The ice, the lighting, the movement… the way everything feels fast, but controlled. I wasn’t trying to create anything finished in that moment—just getting a feel for it. Understanding the rhythm of the game, the atmosphere, the way it all flows together.
And then everything shifted.
The team came out to warm up… and suddenly I wasn’t in the stands anymore.
Right on the edge of the ice, camera in hand, capturing moments as they happened. The sound of skates cutting through, the impact, the speed… it’s a completely different experience when you’re that close. You don’t just watch it...you feel it.
What I’m creating from this isn’t just a single piece… it’s something much bigger.
A three-part artwork that tells the story of the Golden Knights. Their energy, their identity, the way they move as a team and as a force. It’s going to be one continuous story, split across three works… and it’s easily one of the most ambitious pieces I’ve taken on.
Before it’s revealed, I’ve started introducing parts of it… smaller works..shared quietly over on Instagram.
But the full story?
That’s still coming.
And trust me… it’s worth the wait.
