Among Thorns

We all go through seasons where it feels safer to shrink.

To keep quiet. Stay small.  
To tuck ourselves into the shadows, hoping the thorns around us won’t notice we’re there.

when you could fade… but choose to stand tall instead.

Not for the spotlight.  
Not for anyone else.  
Just because you know your strength deserves space.
