This portrait of Toby Price was drawn in pencil and watercolour It ended up as a finalist in the 2020 Salon des Refusés, which was such a proud moment for me. I wanted to capture more than just Toby’s likeness—I wanted to show the grit and determination he’s known for. This piece will always remind me of the hard work (and stubbornness) that goes into finishing something you care about.
